Lisa Hurwitz is an illustrator/artist, single mom of three spirited young boys, 2 dogs, three pot bellied pigs, one skinny pig, and a keeper of bees. Hence, the farmer on the side…

She is a lover of all things furry, feathered, finned, winged, and even scaly.

Lisa is inspired by the chaos, craziness, beauty and sadness that life emanates and attempts to weave this into her work.

Coffee. she LOVES coffee immensely. While she is drawing or painting or working on her ceramics, coffee is always in hand…or very close by.

Lisa graduated from the PA Academy of the Fine Arts where she studied classical drawing, painting, and sculpture. This classical education was vital as her foundation in which to launch her own whimsical style.
